What do I need to know before getting printing bids
on my book?
Your checklist should contain the following:

for more than one quantity)

in certain sizes and offer economical prices when printing a size
suited for their presses)
- Page count (Note: most printers specialize in
32-page signatures)
- Interior pages specifications:
- How will you supply the artwork? (On disk
or hard copy? Computer files must meet printers specifications
ask printer for Electronic Information Form)
- Will your interior pages bleed? (Printing
graphics up to the edge of the page)

common and most economical)
